U3219Q, odd picture on screen

This screen is about 5 years old. I've had older dell monitors from the 2000s last longer than this. Trying to figure out what is wrong with it. Is it a failed LED strip. Polarization film defect? Failing screen? Seems to be more noticeable on red colors . It's a 4k screen and I dont want to throw it out if its something as simple as a loose video cable behind the screen. Tried different cables using DP and HDMI. This even happens with no video input hooked up to the monitor. Wouldn't see this as customer damage as the screen isn't broken. This screen is out of warranty seems it ended in 2023. But for this to be a $400+ screen and only last 5 years is crazy. If anyone has seen this same thing happen on their monitor and figured out what caused it please let me know. Just curious to know what's making this happen.

It's an internal LCD failure -- what you're seeing is the backlight through the parts of the screen with the LCD matrix is failing.  The only permanent fix is a replacement panel -- which likely won't be easy to come by, and will likely cost a significant percentage of the cost of the monitor to replace even if you can find one.
