U3219Q, firmware update failed, USB-C not working, #2
hello,
I am copy pasting this issue as I have the IDENTICAL issue JUST HAPPEN to me
I tried to update my U3219Q minitor to the latest firmware M3B110 and got an "Update Error" message in less than 5 minutes while it was updating. I did from my MacBook Pro which this monitor is used with. After the update failed, the montior now no longer detect my MacBook Pro (connected via usb-c). I unplugged and turned the monitor on and off, reboot my MacBook Pro couple times, remove DDM, recusb-c cable but the monitor just doesn't detect my MacBook Pro anymore. I then try to update the monitor firmware from a Windows PC but it's even worse as the firmware update app report no monitor model detected! Both the Mac and Windows PC are connected to the montor with the Dell USB upstream cable during update. Can someone shed some light please! Thanks.
@dell-cares can you dm me please!

DELL-Cares assisted that other user back in 2021 because the warranty on their U3219Q was still valid.
* Go HERE
* Enter your private U3219Q Service Tag into the blank
* What is the warranty status?

I do not know of a fix. Most of the time a failed firmware update breaks the monitor.
The U3219Q Drivers & Downloads page shows firmware M3B110 and M3B111. You copied the 2021 post so assuming that you tried M3B110? If yes, try M3B111.
