U3023E, switching on and off after installing DDPM

Hi there,

I have a monitor U3023E, which ist connected via KVM-Switch to a non Dell mini-PC.

On the same KVM-Switch is another mini-PC and a non-Dell Mini-Tower.

All PC's are working with Windows 11 Pro newest version.

On the first mini-PC I installed the DDPM (Dell Display and Peripheral Manager). After that I have the problem, that the monitor switches on and off at start of the pc. I'm not able to register into windows.
When i press the button on the pc to switch to sleep modus, it takes some time and when I press it again, the pc starts normal without problems. I have to do this every day. The two other pc's doesn't have that problem, so I assume, that this is a problem with the drivers.

Is there any tool or chance, to uninstall Dell Display and Peripheral Manager completely?

I don't want to install windows new.

Thanks for every help

Regards

Herbert

The uninstall should be the normal Windows OS process. Let us know what happens when you try =

Hi Chris M,

Of course, I've already done that. I've also searched the registry for U3023 and deleted anything that seemed suspicious.
I've also reinstalled the old monitor driver from 2022: no change. This morning, I had to put the computer back to sleep before I could work.

It seems, that I have to reinstall Windows and all my programs (more than 50).

Regards

By the way, the firmware update to version M3T103 didn't work: First, the monitor was seen, but then it wasn't recognized.
The monitor was directly connected via HDMI and USB cables.

Reinstalling Windows is a last resort to avoid if you can. Have you uninstalled EVERY Dell App, then restarted the PC? I would look for and uninstall =

Dell Core Services
Dell Digital Delivery
Dell Digital Delivery Services
Dell SupportAssist
Dell SupportAssist Agent
Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Plugin for Dell Update
Dell SupportAssist Remediation
Dell TechHub
Dell Update Utility
Dell Update for Windows
Dell Data Manager

Read through = FAQ Monitor firmware
