U2725QE, two, how to setup daisy chaining to Laptop and NUC?
So I have a question. I have 2 of the u2725qe monitors. I don't really intend to use any of the kvm capabilities. Let's call the monitors m1 and m2.
I would like to have my laptop use thunderbolt into m1, and then daisy chain via DP out to m2 dp in. This on its own works fine.
I would also like to have my nuc use thunderbolt into m2, and then also have m2 daisy chain back to m1 via DP out to m1 dp in.
The issue occurs when I have both of the DP out -> dp in connections made in both directions, now each host PC sees 3 monitors instead of just 2. I assume it's seeing m1 (tb4) (DP out) -> m2 (dp in) (DP out) -> m1 (DP in)
Any thoughts on how I might be able to achieve what I want without it seeing the extra monitor that doesn't physically exist?

Because the monitors can display from only one source (device) at a time, having both of the laptop and NUC connect to the m1 instead. One with thunderbolt and the other with DisplayPort + upstream USB. As for monitors, daisy chaining from m1 to m2 only.

@Chino de Oro I will have to try that, but I think the issue that occurs when you do that is when you switch from say the laptop input to the Nuc input, then the laptop no longer sees its second monitor, so then all your windows that are on screen 2 get all jammed back on screen 1.

When you select input from DisplayPort (NUC), the signals from thunderbolt (laptop) got disconnected and nothing jammed back on m1 screen, just video display from the NUC.
