U2725QE, startup too slow

I recently upgraded my old Dell monitor to the Dell U2725QE monitor. When I’d startup my system with the older monitor, I’d see the Dell logo for about 10 seconds followed immediately by the Windows 10 startup / login screen. With the new display, it goes into standby mode after a couple of seconds and then shows a black screen for another 20-30 seconds before finally showing the windows login screen. This happens when using either the DP or HDMI input on the U2725QE. Is this issue due to the Dell Display Manager & Peripherals program or something else? Any ideas how to fix this?
