U2725QE (2), Mac Studio, 2010 Mac Pro (HDMI/DisplayPort), KVM
The two monitors are daisy chained and the main computer will be the Studio, connected to the displays with thunderbolt.
I'd like to connect the MacPro to the monitors using either the hdmi or the display port, and switch between the computers using the KVM. The less preferred option is through a remote desktop app.
Will I have to manually switch the input on the second (non-KVM) monitor after switching the kvm controls on the main monitor?

First, there has always been issues macOS and daisy chain. The Apple Forum has much data on this issue.
Second, for our Dell users out here, you need to list all of the video out ports on both the Mac Studio and the 2010 Mac Pro.

The daisy chain is working well so far.
The outputs from the 2010 MacPro are DisplayPort or HDMI.
The outputs from the Studio are Thunderbird or HDMI or USB. I'm currently set up with Thunderbird.

Since daisy chain is working on the Mac Studio, perhpas it will work on the MacPro?
Mac Studio Thunderbolt --> U2725QE Thunderbolt cable --> First U2725QE #7 Thunderbolt upstream
First U2725QE #6 Thunderbolt downstream --> U2725QE Thunderbolt cable --> Second U2725QE #7 Thunderbolt upstream
MacPro DP --> U2725QE DP cable --> First U2725QE #4 DP in
First U2725QE #5 DP out --> retail DP cable --> Second U2725QE #4 DP in
Then in Menu--> Input Source, toggle between Thunderbolt and DP.
Online U2725QE User's Guide page 41/42.
