U2724D, Auto Brightness dim, any firmware updates planned?
Hi everyone,
I have a DELL U2724D and like using the auto brightness feature since the lighting in my room changes throughout the day. However, the screen gets too dim to be useful. Are there any planned firmware updates to fix this?

Like you, all we can do is periodically check the online U2724D Drivers & Downloads page to see if a firmware is offered.
Test the three levels (Low/Medium/High) in Menu --> Brightness/Contrast --> Auto Brightness Range Level.
If still an issue, set Menu --> Brightness/Contrast --> Auto Brightness to Off.

Is there any way for you to raise this issue with Dell as a community manager? From what I can tell, this issues is bothering many people.

@aytekaman The Displays Team is notified of all threads with 10 or more users reporting same complaint. That is all we can do.

same problem here though mine if more of fluctuation + very dim, i still got a coupe of weeks window for return so if not resolved I will return it.
