U2723QE, three, primary does not wake up from sleep

I have three U2723QE connected to my desktop running Windows 11. One via HDMI and two via DP 1.4 MST. The first U2723QE on MST would not wake up from sleep a few times of a day. It shows a complete blank screen and no button is responsive when this happens. The USB devices connected to the monitor still work though. I have to unplug power and plug it back to make the monitor work again.

After having this issue for about ten days, I swapped the two U2723QE on MST. It appeared to be fine for the first few days, or it could be that I only used my computer for a short time during those days. But now the same issue is back and it still happens on the first monitor on MST.

I searched the forum and found this thread. which appears to be same issue as mine. Is this a known issue for U2723QE?

The U2723QE have the following video in ports = HDMI/DP/USB-C

Can you connect all three U2723QE to three Desktop video card out ports, then retest?

My computer only has one HDMI and one DP. I forgot to mention the second monitor on the MST chain also had same issue. But it only happened around once a week, much less often than the first one on MST.

I just found this on Google.  Very similar problem as described here on my panel that is about 2 months old.

I observe that when this happens the power indicator light is solid on however the backlight is off and the screen is dark.  My only solution is to pull power and plug it back in.  Everything goes back to normal at that point.

Very confident it's a monitor issue and not a computer as the computer is perfectly fine and even responds to my keystrokes despite not being able to see the screen during the glitch.

I have the same problem too.  I have a the Dell U2723QE as my primary monitor/hub and the second monitor is a Dell U2720Q, connected by USB-C/thunderbolt to a Microsoft Surface Laptop 5.  When the laptop goes to sleep, the

Dell U2723QE shuts off and does not wake-up (the second display stays in sleep too, but I don’t think there is an issue with the U2720Q).  Restarting the PC does not work and the only solution I have is to pull the power cord on the U2723QE and re-plug it back into the monitor.

Disappointing to hear others are having the same problem.
