U2723QE, stop from switching PCs when no signal occurs
So, I have this U2723QE connected to 2 PCs. Running Windows. For the most part everything works beautifully. However, I am regularly working on systems and rebooting and disabling video drivers, etc.
When one PC is restarted, naturally, the U2723QE loses the signal from that device. The U2723QE then takes it upon itself to search for another signal which usually switches it to my other PC which is usually on that I am using to run tests or monitoring the PC which I am working on.
Is there any way to stop the U2723QE from this behavior of automatically searching for active signal and switching?
I am fairly capable of switching the monitor when I need to switch it?

The online U2723QX/U2723QE/U3223QE User’s Guide page 58 discusses the Menu. Page 59 Input Source mentions Auto Select and Auto Select for USB-C. Read through the available options.

During the interim; my one machine crashed and I am working on setting it up again. Once it is back online I will test this issue. But I believe the issue may have been resolved by changing that setting in the monitor software.

Ways to Fix when Computer Turns On But Monitor Says No Signal-
Check Your Cables.
Check Monitor Input Source.
Examine Adapters.
Reset the Monitor.
Test With Different Device or Monitor.
Check Resolution Configuration.
Check PC's Hardware.
Reset the CMOS.
