U2723QE, macOS DDPM unreliability
I have had unreliable behavior from DDPM on my Mac Studio (on HDMI) for years now. One version of MacOS after another, one version of DDPM after another. Works fine on my old MacBook Pro (Intel) or my new MacBook Pro (M4) (on DP).
Basically if I start DDPM, I can switch using a keyboard shortcut once to the laptop. When I use the shortcut to come back, the DDPM icon has a magnifying glass and no matter how long I wait it doesn't clear. I have to restart ddpm. Every. Single. Time. I've basically given up on it.
For some reason I can pick Shift F12 on my laptop but it won't accept it on the Studio, I have to use Alt. I can never seem to get the same key to go both directions.

In the Pinned Posts, "FAQ Dell monitor and Apple", I see two newer versions of macOS DDPM. Have you tested those?

I just tried the new version. Doesn't help. I also have the same scroll wheel issue that others have reported with this particular combination of Mac Studio/HDMI with this monitor, so I think this indicates this is a real recurring reproducable problem. I sometimes also get the blank screen, but thats because when I switch to the Studio it doesn't communicate mouse clicks to the Mac Studio, so I have to power cycle the monitor to get it to respond. If I wake it from the keyboard it works but no click is recognized.
