U2723QE, MacBook Air, Windows laptop, Logitech Brio 300 webcam
Hi there!
I have a question about my monitor in relation to the webcam I want to buy, which is the Logitech Brio 300 webcam. I use my MacBook Air/Windows laptop through the monitor's 90 watt USB-C power supply. The webcam itself has a USB-C cable and I want to connect it to my 2723QE. The question I have is whether I can use the USB-C upstream port for my webcam and thus also use it as a replacement for my laptops. I find the difference between upstream and downstream tricky and wonder if the idea I have in my head can really work.

The Logitech Brio 300 webcam should be connected to the USB-C downstream #15.
The U2723QE #8 USB-C upstream port is only used to activate USB-A #9/#10/#11/#12/#14 and USB-C downstream #15 WHEN the PC is connected to U2723QE #3 HDMI video port or #4 DP video port.
If the PC is connected to #5 USB-C/DP video port, then all of those USB-A and USB-C downstream are activated for that PC.

@DELL-Chris MThank you sir for your reply! I am using my laptop through the 90 watt port, number #5. So that means I have to use number #15 for the webcam, if I understood correctly?
