U2421E, HP EliteBook 640 G10, USB-C cable, USB 2.0 dilemma

Please, I realized that with the usb-c cable that came with the package with the monitor, I only get usb 2.0 speed. I use the monitor as a USB Hub, the laptop is connected with that cable for charging, video and audio signal transmission as well as for data transmission. Given that I don't want to risk using untested cables and cause damage to both the monitor and my laptop, which cable can you recommend that supports both power delivery and usb 3.0 or 3.1. Let me mention that the laptop consumes 65W for power supply.

Access the monitor's On Screen Display (OSD) menu and navigate to the setting for USB-C prioritization.  Select High Data Speed option.  That will prioritize data transfer over video bandwidth and improve the transmission speed from the USB hub of your monitor.

@Chino de Oro Thanks for the reply. I have a question, will this setting have a negative effect on battery charging, and on the video signal that goes from the computer to the monitor (FullHD)?

You need to post the specific monitor model.

Not all USB-C monitors have the USB-C prioritization in the Menu.

No, USB-C prioritization High Data Speed would not affect a FullHD 1920x1080 monitor nor laptop battery charging.

USB-C prioritization High Data Speed could affect higher resolution monitors and daisy chained monitors resolutions.

Yes, I didn't list my monitor model. It is a Dell Ultrasharp U2421E. and now I checked, it seems that my model does not have that option in the settings.

It's just strange to me that Dell doesn't put a proper cable with the monitor, so that it can use all its advantages. This is how we are forced to buy cables from third-party manufacturers, and we always worry whether the cable will be adequate, and above all, safe for use.

@DELL-Chris M Indeed, the monitor comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, but with support up to only 480 Mbit/s. I ask the question why then USB A and C input with speed 3.1? How can those speeds be used?

@mike533 The U2421E doesn't have this "USB-C prioritization" option in the Menu. The OP stated, "It is a Dell Ultrasharp U2421E. and now I checked, it seems that my model does not have that option in the settings.".
