U2421E, DDM 2.3.2.20 unable to use CLI anymore
I have two Dell U2421E monitors, and previously used with the great working DDM app 1.5. I had to replace these two last year (same model), and with the supplied firmware of these monitor I v1.5 is not supported anymore. See my post HERE
I still have to power-cycle the monitors more times a day in order to respond correctly to my laptop.
The v2.x series never work fine. I had a CLI option to switch from inputs (with a *.bat file assigned to a mouse input). E.g. .\DDM.exe 2:/writeactiveinput hdmi
Now there is an update to DDM v2: 2.3.2.20 but this version does not even allow the CLI-input anymore. The text after "ddm.exe" is simply ignored, so a CLI command will only result in a popup of the app.
This is getting me crazy. Any clue how to solve this? Every update of the DDM app it seems to work worse.
In the mean time I'm glad to have saved older versions of DDM, but maybe someone has a solution to the problem, so for now I will downgrade to version 2.0 as a work around.

Dell Support must verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private U2421E Service Tags with them.
Read through DDM 2.0, command line interface to see if it helps.
The Pinned Posts FAQ Monitor --> FAQ DDM (Dell Display Manager) shows all of the still available DDM versions.

"Service Request"? As in exchanging the monitor over a DDM software issue?
What firmware is installed on your two U2421E? See in Menu--> Others. Latest firmware on the website is M3T103.

I don't think they'll replace the monitor. It is a software issue - maybe firmware, maybe software.
Latest firmware installed. And that is where the issue also started. My previous monitors (exactly the same type) had older firmware that could run with DDM 1.5. That worked much better then the v2 versions with M3T103.
But the conversion has been ended/closed, without any solution or whatsoever. Oh yes, I got a "Dell customer experience Survey" email. If I would like to fill in a form that everything works great, I suppose.

Still no solution for this? There is a new update, just tried that one.
Still the CLI is not useable anymore. So I go back again to the older version of DDM.
