Title: AW3425DW stuck in panel refresh cycle - blue LED, OSD unresponsive
I recently purchased the AW3425DW and ran into an issue today. The monitor began cycling through red, green, blue, and white screens mid-session while actively in use (not in standby). The power LED is blue rather than the green or amber described in Dell's documentation for Pixel Refresh and Panel Refresh cycles.
The cycle has now been running for over two hours with no signs of stopping. The joystick is completely unresponsive during the cycle — I cannot access the OSD at all. I have tried power cycling the monitor multiple times but it restarts the cycle immediately each time.
Additional details:
- Monitor purchased new, less than a couple days old. It was delivered April 16, set up April 17 and unusable April 18.
- Running current Nvidia drivers
- Laptop sleep disabled to prevent interruption
- No firmware updates available for this model on the Dell support site
- The older AW3423DWF had a similar bug that was resolved via firmware update (M3B105)
Has anyone else experienced this on the AW3425DW? Is there a firmware update in the pipeline? Any known workarounds short of contacting support for a warranty replacement?
Thanks

Disconnect everything (power, USB) from the monitor. Hold the power button for 30 sec or wait 10-15 minutes.
Then power up and see if the monitor cycles on. If it doesn't, contact Dell (or your seller) to have the monitor replaced.
