SB522A, two computers, USB-A, black
I recently purchased the Dell SB522A Conferencing soundbar but when I plugged it in it did not work. I use a TESmart Switch because I have two laptops but the soundbar did not work. I tried plugging the soundbar into the TESmart Switch but still did not get any sound. I had to send the soundbar back and get a refund, but does this mean that no other soundbars will work via the TESmart Switch?
Can anyone offer any advice please

The SB522A is not tested/validated by Dell on a switch.
You can see in the online Dell Slim Conferencing Soundbar SB522A Usage and Troubleshooting Guide that the SB522A is connected directly to the Monitor USB-A downstream port. Then the Monitor USB upstream cable connects to your Desktop or Laptop.

In a two computer setup, both computers would need to connect to the single monitor. One via HDMI and the second via USB-C or DP.

I am not sure what you mean, based on your comment above does this mean that the Dell soundbar will NOT work via a TESmart Switch?
Please elaborate, thank you

Unknown by Dell. Based on your test results, no. Dell never tested the Soundbar on any switch. All we can go by are the instructions above which show the Soundbar connecting directly to the monitor.
