S3225QS, connected to Firestick and I want to add a soundbar/speakers
I absolutely hate the circle control button at the back of the monitor so I bought a soundbar to connect to the monitor so I have better sound and I can control it with a remote that comes with the sound bar. I connected both the firestick and the soundbar with HDMI cables. How do I tell the monitor to output the sound via the HMDI cable to the soundbar? Thank you for your help

The S3225QS HDMI in ports are equipped to take video and audio from a source computer. In your case, the Firestick is sending both video and audio signals to lets's say S3225QS HDMI 1 in port, then audio out to the S3225QS Built-in speakers. That is then controlled by the S3225QS Menu Input Source HDMI 1.
You cannot then use S3225QS HDMI 2 in port with the Soundbar because the S3225QS will think it is another Input computer source. It will not think that HDMI 2 in port is using the same source as HDMI 1 in port.

I had to use Bluetooth to sound system...not ideal, but only choice I have...
The only other choice is going through a home theater sound system like you do with a television before you hook it up to the monitor....

@DELL-ChrisM2 Thank you very much. Disappointing, but thank you. I will have to go back to the 2 monitor set up then from my PC.
