S3221QSA, calibration device, preset mode?

I am wondering if anyone can help me? I have the dell s3221qsa curved monitor.  What I would like to know is when i'm using a calibration device to properly calibrate the monitor for photo editing and printing, which preset mode should the monitor be set to, standard or custom ?
