S3221QS, cannot update M2C103 firmware?

My monitor often has this beeping sound whenever audio stops playing on all my devices which connect to it. I tried updating the firmware here following the instructions to remove all other connecting cables except the upload usb. However, the software says that this is not the right monitor model so I can't update. Does Dell need to update fix their firmware, is there another way to update? Or does anyone know how to fix my beeping sound?

* Page 40 in the S3221QS User's Guide = Using the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. If in Menu --> Others, the currently installed firmware is newer than M2C103, do not install M2C103

* If the currently installed firmware is older than M2C103, on the Desktop computer, download/save the M2C103 firmware

* Read = FAQ Monitor firmware for further details

* Menu --> Others --> DDC/CI = On

Desktop computer HDMI out port --> S3221QS HDMI to HDMI cable --> S3221QS #4 HDMI1 2.0 port
Desktop computer USB-A port --> S3221QS USB-A to USB-B cable --> S3221QS #9 USB 3.0 upstream
port

I was able to update it after turning on the DDC/CI.

* Go here and insert the private S3221QS service tag number. What is the warranty status?

* Open the S3221QS Menu
* Go to Others
* What is listed by Firmware?

@DELL-ChrisM2
It is out of warranty.

Where is the S3221QS Menu?

When I say firmware, I meant the Dell_MonitorFirmwareUpdateUtility_W_S3221QS_M2C103.zip update from the link I first posted. It seems to be a monitor issue and regardless of my warranty status, shouldn't the firmware be working properly so that I can apply the patch?
