S2725QC, port concerns
I'm building my first PC setup, but from what I've seen the monitor was built for laptops more than it was for PCs.
I want to hit the 4k/120hz this monitor is capable of, and apparently HDMI 2.1 is very much preferred over HDMI 2.0 for that. So HDMI 2.1 or DP 1.4 is what I'm looking for I guess?
The monitor's page says it has:
- 1 USB-C 5Gbps upstream port (DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode, Power Delivery up to 65 W)
- 2 HDMI ports (HDCP 1.4 & 2.3) (Supports up to UHD 3840 x 2160, 120 Hz, FRL, HDR, VRR as per specified in HDMI 2.1)
Does this mean it has both HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4?
I very new to anything PC related so I have no idea when it comes to these things. I've tried looking but I can't get my head around it.
