S2725DS, disconnected HDMI port is not disappearing on computer

Hi all,

I have my Mac Mini and Windows laptop connected to S2725DS via HDMI cables to the same monitor. When I switch from the laptop to the Mac, the transition works just fine, and I can use my Mac without any issues.

However, after switching, there is a ghost screen on my Windows laptop. There are windows and another screen visible that I cannot interact with, making it difficult to use the laptop.

This issue didn’t occur when I used an external HDMI switch, and it’s causing frustration. I’m considering returning the product if this problem can’t be resolved. Has anyone experienced something similar or know of a solution?
