S2722DC, unable to obtain signal using USB-C cable
OptiPlex 3080 Micro
Hi Dell Community,
I am still getting a "No USB-C signal from your device" even after I have connected the supplied USB-C cable from the s2722DC monitor USB-C/DP output to my Optiplex 3080 MFF's DP port.
I will greatly appreciate it if you could give me some advice on how to troubleshoot this issue as I am prepared to sell this monitor which has caused me a great deal of distress.

Use HDMI to HDMI Cable if you can.
select hdmi input on monitor
USB c more appropriate for laptops

The issue has been resolved with a DP (output, computer) - HDMI adapter - HDMI (input, monitor) .
HDMI cable used was a vanilla, non 4K/8K cable.

I correct myself:
I had used a third party cable USB-C/DP cable, and not the supplied cable.
