S2522HG, firmware from M3B101 to M3B103, now my downlight sensor no longer works

Hello everyone,
I recently updated my DELL S2522HG monitor's firmware from M3B101 to M3B103, followed all the instructions correctly but after the update my downlight sensor no longer works when I've tried tapping it to activate the light. The downlight itself still works and I can toggle it from the OSD menu with no issues to the downlight itself but the sensor is still not working no matter what I've tried to do even after the factory reset. Have anyone experienced the same issue? If so, does anyone know the solution?
