S2319HC, flashing when I try to turn it on
My monitor just keeps flashing when I try to turn it on - the word Dell appears very briefly with each flash but nothing else. Monitor won't work with another desktop. Have tried turning off, unplugging and holding switch on button - nothing. Switch on button does not turn off flashing. Can anyone help please.

Sounds defective. What is the non-private 20 digit serial number off of the rear label?
