P3424WEB, USB-C hub not picking up 2nd monitor DP-DP
I recently purchased the P3424WEB (34" curved conference monitor with USB-C hub).
I am trying to connect a second monitor (Dell: 3 years old) to the new monitor via DP-DP. I also have the USB-B to USB-A cable plugged in.
My computer picks up the USB cable in the 2nd monitor but it doesn't pick up the 2nd monitor in display settings.
I am running the new monitor via the USB-C cable provided with the monitor on a Microsoft Surface Studio 2 (RTX 4050 Laptop GPU w/6GB Ram). All drivers are up to date and I reinstalled them as well.
My questions are:
- Can the new P3424WEB have an additional monitor connected or does it have to be another computer?
- Does the new P3424WEB have to have a certain type of monitor it needs to connect too?
-Is it a limitation of my laptop itself?
Any help will be gratefully received. Thank you :)

@Parikshitkr
I'm using HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 connected to P3424WEB and another 1920x1080 monitor (Dell U2417H). It has been working fine with laptops of different brands, easy switch with dock's USB-C combo cable.

Hi @Parikshitkr,
I've successfully used a Dell WD19S dock to connect two P3424Web monitors to a single Dell laptop for one of our executives.

The online P3424WEB User's Guide page 14 shows us that it only has video IN ports (HDMI/DP/USB-C). So no, you cannot daisy chain a second monitor directly from the P3424WEB. Both monitors will need to connect directly to the source PC.
