P2424HT, connect to iMac 4K Retina, 2019
I have a iMac (4K Retina, 2019).
1. Would the P2424HT work with it using the cables that comes with the P2424HT or do I need to buy an adapter and/or other types of cable?
2. Am i able to set up the P2424HT vertically in portrait mode without the need to buy any special monitor stand?

- Thunderbolt 3 digital video output
- Native DisplayPort output over USB‑C
- Thunderbolt 2, HDMI, DVI, and VGA output supported using adapters

The Dell P2424HT includes HDMI and USB-C, but your iMac (4K Retina, 2019) only has Thunderbolt 3/USB-C. You’ll need a USB-C to HDMI adapter or cable.
Yes, the P2424HT supports portrait mode with its included stand, so no special stand is required.

Sikandar2001, thanks for the assist! Do you think this would work?
iMac TB3 --> P2424HT USB-C to USB-C cable --> P2424HT #6 USB-C upstream port

The P2424HT should work with your iMac using the cables that come with the monitor. It likely includes an HDMI or DisplayPort cable, but depending on your iMac’s ports, you may need a USB-C to DisplayPort or USB-C to HDMI adapter if your iMac only has USB-C/Thunderbolt ports.
Yes, you can set up the P2424HT in portrait mode without needing a special stand. The monitor has a built-in adjustable stand that supports portrait orientation.
