@Ting_tw How do you move the monitor UP or DOWN? Just got my P2423 and Stand seems high but no Adjustment BUTTON at the base. What did you discover as the secret to lower the monitor?

There is no button. Grasp the left side of the panel and right side side of the panel and move it up and down. Page 61 in the online P2423 User's Guide =
@DELL-Chris M it would have been easier on us all if DELL simply put directions for the P2423 stand.. no ‘release button’ is needed.. the stand has an inner spring that allows the monitor to be manually adjusted up or down for desired height!
