P2311Hb, stuck on a 'No VGA Cable' screen
For days I have been trying to get this monitor to work, it is just stuck on a 'No VGA Cable' screen even though on my laptop it detects a monitor connected. I have tried everything that is out there but nothing works. I am currently trying to access the OSD Menu to factory reset the monitor but it is locked so if anyone knows how I would be able to access it'd heavily appreciate it. I've tried unplugging all cables, pressing and holding buttons but I still have no access to the OSD Menu. Also wanted to mention I am using a HDMI to VGA converter but I don't really think it is the problem. I have also used a program called SoftMCCS and it tells me that the DDC/CI isn't activated which may be blocking me from accessing the OSD Menu but I have no clue on how to activate. There was also this other program called ClickMonitorDCC which I tried to change the brightness of the monitor but it didn't work (if that is any help). Would really appreciate any help if someone out there is able to help. Thanks.

@DELL-Chris M I appreciate the reply but this doesn't seem to work, I even tried the other buttons, each for 10 seconds, minutes but nothing. I can only access the input source menu nothing else.

If #3 HERE doesn't fix the issue, time to replace the old monitor.
