P2214Hb, Monitor Dimmed

Serial #: CN-0KW14V-74261-47H-4CYB, REV A02, Connected to Dell Precision M4800 Laptop through a docking station, 64 Bit OS, Windows 7 Prof, Intel HD Graphics 4600 video card, using a VGA cable. Monitor has been working properly for four months.  I plugged in today and monitor is very dim.  I ran the factory resets, plugged/unplugged power and VGA cables, and ran the self-tests and found nothing.  Any other ideas for what I can try?

If the dimming issue was present in the BID (Built-in Diagnostics), page 48-49, get it replaced.

* Open, "My 24" or smaller monitor does not have a Service Tag?"
