P2214H, AC511 Soundbar usage?
I have a P2214H monitor. It doesn’t have speakers. I’m currently using a DELL AC511 Soundbar for my audio. But I’m wondering, why does the audio not work through the usb ports on the back of my monitor? I find that the audio only works on the Xbox usb ports and that’s what I’m using currently. I still have to connect the AUX into the controller because audio does not transmit through the usb ports on Xbox. I just want to know how to get the Soundbar to work on my monitor since it seems the usb ports only support power.

Let's backup. Using which ports and cables, how is the P2214H connecting to the computer?

I have the same issue. We were gifted this monitor, which my son uses for different things. He was hoping to connect the speaker directly to the monitor to get sound when he's using an N64 we got him, but also for his chromebook. The speakers only work when connected directly to the source (chromebook, laptop, etc) which means he can't use it to the N64 since it doesn't have a USB port.
Is there a way to get a USB speaker to work by connecting it directly to the monitor since it doesn't have a headphone jack?
