How to connect 2 monitors U3223QE to 2 PCs with KVM
I bought 2 x U3223QE and have question on how to connect them to 2 x PCs and be able to use KVM?
Several questions:
1 - Based on earlier response I I plan to connect PC#1 with DP cable to U3223QE#1 and daisy chain with DP cable to U3223QE#2. How do I connect PC#2?
2 - What if PC#2 does not have USB-C with DisplayPort Alt mode, only has 1 x DP.
PC#1 is HBR3 PC connected to WD19TBS which has 1 x USB-C Thunderbolt 3 and 2 x DP1.4.
3 - 2 x U3223QE did not come with original Dell supplied cables, therefore I need to purchase DP and USB cables to connect them to the 2 x PCs. I plan to buy the following:
2 x DP 2.1 cables
2 x USB-C 4.0 Thunderbolt 3/4
Will I need any more DP, USB-C or any USB-C to USB-A cables?

In an ideal world.
Connect the laptop to the 1st monitor via USB-C USB-C cable. (to socket 5 of the monitor manual)
Connect the desktop to the 1st monitor via Display Port. socket 4
and
Connect the desktop to the 1st monitor via USB cable USB-A to USB-C to socket 8
You shouldn't need the WD19TBS, unless you find things unreliable

@bobbehrooz , received your question and found your new thread. To make it easier for others whom following your thread and to recap the provided information, the topic query is for a dual monitor setup using two U3223QE monitors. They will be in daisy chaining setup to use with a Dell Latitude laptop with USB-C and a non-specified desktop PC with DisplayPort. If any info is not correct, please provide feedback.
Below is the port view of U3223QE with descriptions to help with visual connecting locations:
For dual monitor daisy chaining setup of your monitors, just use one DisplayPort cable and connect first monitor DP-out port #6 to second monitor DP-in port #4.
For dual PC connection, all cables will be connected to first monitor only:
* Connecting USB-C thunderbolt port from your Latitude laptop to USB-C port #5 of first monitor
* Connecting the DisplayPort from the desktop PC to DisplayPort-in port #4 of first monitor
* Connecting a USB-A to C from the desktop PC (USB-A port) to the first monitor USB-C upstream port #8
* Connecting all peripherals such as mouse, keyboard, webcam to the first monitor USB downstream port #9, 10, 12 and 13.
The cables needed: two DisplayPort cables, one USB-C thunderbolt cable, and one USB-A to USB-C cable. With this setup, you don't need the WD19TBS docking station and it can be removed from the desktop.

For the desktop, so that the monitor USB ports and keyboard work.
