G3223Q Monitor not detected: Can not update the firware

Hi!

I have a Dell 32 4K UHD Gaming Monitor G3223Q.

I tried to update the firmware from M3T103 to M3T105.

I have downloaded from https://www.dell.com/support/product-details/fr-be/product/g3223q-monitor/drivers. I am using a Windows 11 laptop.

I have connected the laptop to the monitor via HDMI. I can see the Windows UI interface on the monitor.

But it is impossible for the Dell firmware software to detect the monitor via the USB cable. I have tried many cables but still not working.

Could you please tell me what to do?

Laptop HDMI out port --> G3223Q HDMI to HDMI cable --> G3223Q #3 HDMI 1 in port
Laptop USB-A --> G3223Q USB-A to USB-B cable --> G3223Q #6 USB-B port

G3223Q Menu OSD --> Others
DDC/CI = On

Have you connected the USB Type-B port on the back/rear of the monitor rather than one of the front downstream ports to your computer?

Hi,

I was missing the USB-B port. It worked.

Thank you very much for your help!

Have a great day!
