Dell U4025QW Ultrawide Monitor Stops working on MacOS 26.1 Tahoe

Help

Ever since updating to the latest MacOS 26 Tahoe (26.1), the U4025QW is unable to detect my Macbook Pro M2 max via the thunderbolt port. On my Mac side it seems to be repeatedly connecting and disconnecting from the monitor and the whole computer starts to freeze up.

The monitor via thunderbolt works fine on my other Macbook which is running the previous version of macOS Tahoe (26.0.1) and my gfs Macbook which is running Sequoia, this only started after I installed 26.1.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? I tried updating to the latest firmware M3T105 (which btw the installer doesn't even work on MacOS, I had to use a Windows VM and even that took multiple tries) and that did not fix things. Insane that Dell doesn't bother to test betas with a nearly $2000 monitor, the stable release of 26.1 went out today.
