DDPM, switching inputs takes two hotkey attempts
Why does this happen and how do I stop it from happening? Here's what happens...
1. I've bound CTRL+M to the input switching function in DDM. I have a laptop on the HDMI input and a desktop on the Display Port.
2. It doesn't matter which input I'm on, I have the DDM installed on both the laptop and desktop with the same key binding. I press CTRL+M to switch inputs, the screen flashes, it seems to switch to the other input and then doesn't. I have to press the CTRL+M again and then it switches.
I've been using this setup for a month or so and without fail, it's requires two attempts to get the input to switch. Neither of the systems are asleep. BTW, in the Input Source option in the monitor settings, I've disabled the Auto Select feature (it's set to Off). I have a Dell S3422DWG monitor.
How do I get this to switch inputs on the first hotkey attempt? Super annoying as is.

Which version number?
I see DDPM 2.0.3.9 on the S3422DWG Drivers & Downloads page.

Any ideas? Can other people reproduce this behavior?

@ITOps101 I have the same issue, even with the latest version 2.1.0.20.

@rg2k glad it's not just me. This software is not good and has bugs. Too bad Dell doesn't care enough about it that they'll even respond.

Test the new DDPM 2.1.0.23 shown on the S3422DWG page.

I updated on both systems to the latest DDPM 2.1.0.23 version and it's definitely better. I've had to do the 2 attempts a few times but most of the time it switches on the first try. Thanks for the info and for getting my info to the devs.
