Windows Azure to be renamed to Microsoft Azure

Not a surprising move given the breadth of functionality goes beyond just Windows.

It’s inevitable that Office 365 gets ingested by Azure, and this is fair warning that Azure is no longer just Microsoft’s PaaS offering.
More than Office 365 running on Azure (which, frankly who cares, because who will notice?), you’ll see converged provisioning, reporting, look and feel, etc. Essentially, you’ll go to the same place to manage your Azure and O365 stuff.
I’m frankly surprised it’s taken this long for them to get started.
