Internet Explorer 10, in keeping with a long standing tradition, is having problems with the Java Runtime Environment. This may cause you problems with Java based management tools like NaviSphere/UniSphere. The problem is with the IE 10 running in the new "Metro" interface. If you switch to the old-style Windows view it works.

There's a registry hack to disable/enable metro:
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer and change RPEnabled to 0 to disable, or 1 to reenable.
There's also a goofy tool here. It's nice enough, but I had to install .Net framework.

If you haven't checked the latest Windows 8 server versions recently, Microsoft has added the Metro interface to the server builds. Looks kind of "sparse" when you first start it up - as you turn on features you'll eventually see new tiles showing up - but they're pretty bland at the moment.
This is a major change - without the Start menu you really have to learn a new way of navigating. Get used to working from the new Server Manager and also popping over to the detailed view of the Control Panel. (And start checking out the native PowerShell cmdlets - you'll need them...)
