Windows 11, Canon camera photo disc import not working
I had Microsoft 10 on my Dell, but recently installed Windows 11. Now, I cannot import any photos from my photo disc on my Dell? The USB slots all work, but not the photo disc from my Canon camera. What do I do? 6/8/2025

I may have solved my own problem thanks to a very intelligent young man (Anthony) at Office Depot! He suggested I try their USB-C 3.1 by j5Create, which has a 3-Port HUB with SD/microSD Card Reader. It is MacOS & Windows Compatible.
He said I would ALSO needed the USB Charge & Sync Cable Adapters so that I could plug it into my Dell USB. They didn't have that in stock, and I needed it immediately. The young man at Office Depot searched my town for the adapter I needed and found one at Wal-Mart. It was NOT in the electronics area but in the AUTOMOTIVE area for cars. This one was made by SCOSCHE.
The "PHOTOS" app will pop up, but no pictures will load on it (Thanks WINDOWS 11 for this PROBLEM!)
To find pictures:
This PC.
Canon DC (G:) (As I have a Canon camera)
DCIM
148_06
Image numbers for all photos on the disc.
So far, I have not been able to load my videos! My current apps for video "cannot open the file."
Let me know if this helps anyone.
