support for windows multiple mount points?

We are migrating windows servers from a HDS storage array to a EMC VPlex array using Open Migrator.

But Open Migrator does not seem to have support for windows servers with luns and multiple mount points...

Does anyone has an suggestion for a another sulution for this?

Is it a VMAX or a VPLEX ? If it is a VPLEX, use VPLEX for Migration, Otherwise, Open Replicator might help .  .

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

This is a vplex using vnx as backend. We cannot use vplex for migration because the HDS array we are migrating from is not supported for encapsulation into vplex.

So open replicator could be a solution for us as we have windows servers with multiple mountpoints at the storage luns?

/Anders

So, i case of a VNX Array, you can use SAN Copy. Since I do not know you HDS Array, Check EMC Elab Navigator or  get i  touch with your local Sales Team for Support Matrix inquiry

SAN Copy is, like Open Replicator, a Array Based Migration Tool, so no Host Software is Needed.

You can check for a Brief Summary on Migration Strategys here:
