Are there any timelines as to when the VNX will support SMB 3.0 with Windows 2012?
Thanks!

VNX plans to support SMB 3.0 as well as other Windows Server 2012 specific features in the Inyo MR1 release. This is currenlty planned for later this quarter.

I saw EMC announced it is committed to delivering broad storage platform support for Windows Server 2012, including SMB 3.0 and Offload Data Transfer(ODX) across EMC VNX,VMAX and Isilon after Microsoft’s general availability .SMB 3.0 brings several improvements to the SMB protocol that help enhance EMC storage in Windows Server 2012 and Hyper-V environments. EMC such as VNX fully supports SMB 3.0 with its unified storage platform.
And there is sa demo shows EMC VNX 5300 and new Windows Server 2012 feature: SMB 3 Multichannel. The SQL Server is virtualized with Hyper-V, and is connected with VNX 5300 through SMB 3 multichannel.Link: https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-19342
