run windows server 2008 as a mysql db server for android mobile
i have a project to make a windows server 2008 to become MySql database server that can be access from the android application via php.
whether it can use XAMPP or IIS?
i have no idea how to start it.
any suggestion ?

Hello, this question should be directed to and best addressed by MS since you are looking for OS support. Also Windows 2008 went EOL around 5 years ago FYI.
