Exchange and SharePoint Days in Mexico City December 1, 2015 at the Microsoft Technology Center

Last week, the Messaging and Collaboration team flew to Mexico City. Over 40 local customers joined us to learn about Messaging and Collaboration Solutions Redefined, XtremIO for Exchange and SharePoint and Converged Infrastructure for Exchange and SharePoint from EMC. They also learned about the new features and functionality of Exchange 2016 and SharePoint 2016 from Microsoft.

Customers confirmed that they are also facing challenges around increasing agility, maximizing their return on investment and guaranteeing data access while deciding what infrastructure best meets their own requirements and when they’ll be upgrading their Microsoft technology. Customers were excited about the results we shared for Exchange and SharePoint running on XtremIO as well as how EMC IT has used Converged Infrastructure to optimize our own Exchange and SharePoint environment. Last, the Microsoft presentations for Exchange 2016 and SharePoint 2016 shared some exciting updates with how they’re bringing cloud functionality on-prem and optimizing both of these versions for a hybrid model.
