Microsoft Exchange and SQL Capacity sizing and Solution Support
Did you know that the EMC Solution Design Center (SDC) can assist with an initial Exchange and SQL capacity sizing and Microsoft related Solution Support and RFP Assistance for Microsoft releated questions?
Exchange and SQL Sizing: The SDC will provide an application storage sizing service around Exchange and SQL (coming soon SharePoint) These services Are available today.
Solution Support : The SDC will review solutions, but they must be solutions that include a EMC products and a Microsoft application Requests for Solution Support will be taken via Sales Force or taken via the above referenced ECN Communities. Depending on the information provided, the team will seek to answer the following questions when conducting reviews:
• Will it work?
• Is it supported?
• Is it scalable?
• Are there better options?
Note that the SDC will not be creating new solution designs, but will be reviewing designs posed within the ECN communities to provide feedback.

Application RFP Assistance: SDC will review RFP content related to EMC Solutions (EMC products and a context - Microsoft) that result in Microsoft application enablement. Example: “Do you have a solution that can accelerate SQL performance…”.
To engage the SDC for any of our services, EMC personnel should submit their request for this service via Salesforce.com (case type: Application Sizing, Application RFP Assistance, Solution Support (Application Design Review)).
