Hyper-v lun size, #of guest per lun question
Hi,
We have a pretty shotty hyper-v envirnoment now, and was setup before I got here. The luns are large(1TB) and the windows admins keep putting more and more guests on it each host. The issue is when they do patching or rebooting, their hyper-v environment goes into some deadlock state. The windows team is blamming storage of course, ignoring my recommendation to break it up into smaller luns. What is the recommended lun size, and # of guests that should reside on that lun?
Many thanks in advance!

Generally speaking, 1 TB is a good LUN size. *This can changing depending on number of VMs, workload, storage, etc.
My suggestion is run some data collect (performance, events, etc) from both storage and host.
