Distributed File System Replication

I received this request from my customer:

Sorry about that.  We are currently replicating folders via Microsoft DFS-R (Distributed File System Replication).  This is a hub and spoke replication where there is one source and 83 targets.  The 83 targets are geographically separated from each other and the source.  Our customer appears to lack confidence in DFS-R and would like either a process to validate DFS-R replication or a separate replication alternative that would have validation reporting included within it.

I do recall that Legato had a replication application.  Does EMC have anything that could assist us here?

It appears the customer would like an alternative solution for Microsoft's DSSR.  Can someone tell me if EMC has a viable alternative?
