dell operating system recovery tool
I talked to a dell tec and found out they have discontinued support for windows 7,8,8.1 so likely os recovery tool will no longer function

If the Dell Operating System Recovery Tool no longer supports Windows 7, 8, or 8.1, you can consider the following alternatives to create recovery media or reinstall your operating system: Microsoft's Media Creation Tool for Windows 10
If your Dell computer has a recovery partition, you can still access it to restore your system to factory settings:
F8(or the key specific to your model) during boot to access the Advanced Boot Options menu.Repair Your Computer.Dell Factory Image Restoreand follow the on-screen instructions.
