Any community where I can ask AD related question?

I am trying to use our emc storage and link it to a windows 2008 server.

I am trying to share a directory via SMB and use the space from this dir and let the user access the share as their home directory.

After creating the new group policy, while doing a gpupdate I get an event that says the GPT file does not exist.

While traversing through the specified path i can see that the GPT file is not there.

Any idea why its not getting created?
I see microsoft post that other places that talk about editing the registry which I am not sure would fix the issue.

New to windows platform so please let me know if any further info is required to get this fixed.

Apologies if this does not comply with our ECN rules since this is more like a microsoft issue
