Installing Dell Tools (Command Monitor, Command Configure, Dell Inventory Agent) Breaks Hyper-V Server

The way these applications integrate with WMI and compile MOF files is clearly bad, since it breaks every machine they are installed on if they have Hyper-V installed. Not just the hypervisor, even just having the Hyper-V console installed breaks after every install.

The required fix is to recompile the mof, but it should not be happening in the first place. The Dell installer should be checking the environment it is being installed on and prevent problems interacting with other applications. I suspect other WMI integrations will also be affected.

People have been reporting this for almost about 10 years!! When are Dell going to fix it?
