XPS 13 9360 External Hard disk (USB) and headphones not detected
Hi,
I purchased my XPS 13 9360 in Dec 2017 only. I tried connecting my headphones, normal 3.6mm jack. I think it's a loose connection or something. It's not getting detected or plugged in completely.
Also my USB External Hard disk is not even detected or being read. Absolutely nothing happens when I connect it. It's not even recognizing the device.
Kindly let me know the solution for this.

You have 30 days to return for receive a full refund.
Consider doing that.

The headphones and external drive are probably different problems. The 9360 uses the Waves popup to recognize new devices plugged into the combined audio port. If you are not getting the popup, assuming something is not broken, you need to re-enable the popup or reinstall the audio driver.
As a note, make sure the audio plug is seated all the way in the port.
There are some external drives which seem to have problems with newer OSes and systems. Are your other USB devices working normally?
