webcam error:"please plug in supported device"

I am having Dell Inspiron n4010. I am installing Dell Webcam Center Product Version 2.00 on it.Installation process completed with no error.

But when I start the Dell Web Cam center it pops up an error showing "please plug in supported device" with web cam light flash for fraction of seconds.

I already used the same Application with my laptop. But since I reinstalled Windows 7 I am facing this problem.

What is the problem?

Is it hardware or OS or Driver related?

Please Help!

Thanking You!

Here comes another problem,, I think I am having hardware problem :(

Web Cam is loosely connected... I am able to connect when I move the laptop around....

What should I do to fix this problem?

How much time will it take to fix, if I send it to Dell Service Centre?
