Vostro A860 Laptop installing drivers

I am trying to restore my laptop to factory settings.

I've done the re-installation just like the link: http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?docid=DSN_339949

I am lost on step 5,  downloading the drivers. when I put in the disk, the system model options it gives me are all for Vostro Notebooks. I have a Vostro A860, so i am not sure which are the correct drivers to download.

When I did the Reinstallation, it did not do the internet part, so I'm currently not able to connect to the internet and just download the files from the website.

I could be doing something totally wrong, but wanted to see if you could help at all.

Thanks,

Morgan

Hi Morgan,

First install the chipset driver from the disc and should be listed as Intel Mobile Chipset and then Realtek LAN RTL8102EL driver with which you will be able to go online wired. Then you may install the remaining drivers from the link below:

http://dell.to/1057uzD

Please select the Operating system from the drop down list to get the drivers.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
