Touchpad Settings.

I need to change the settings for my touchpad on my Dell Inspiron.  It is too sensitive causing the cursor to jump around when I am typing.  I have Windows 7.  This seems to be a consistent problem for Dell laptops running W7.  I could not find any options to change touchpad settings, just mouse and cursor.  Please help

Hi Terye,

Adjustment of the touchpad sensitivity depends on which software application (Alps/Apoint or Synaptics) is installed in the system. Please refer to the below link to adjust the touchpad settings.

Also install the latest Touchpad driver from the Dell site mentioned below. Key in the service tag and appropriate operating system to download the driver.
